We are in Rome for one last evening. I apologize again for not keeping up with blogging, but it felt like after not having internet for two weeks, there was no real way to catch up! We still have many stories to tell, and I'm sure many reflections and things we don't yet know we've learned.
For now, it is hot outside, but we will brave the day with hats and electrolytes, and look forward to being in temperate Toronto tomorrow afternoon. Which will be home... Home? We will be in the business of creating home. It will be the first time we will have moved into a place together, and with our gradual letting go of things, I think we will better know how to arrange our things.
I look forward to meeting with the priest from Epiphany and St. Mark's to talk about how I will lead music at the church, I will likely have at least a few piano students come September, and I will be looking for another part time bit of work to fit in between.
My gosh! I also get to spend next weekend walking alongside a great friend as she marries a wonderful guy... They need to let me know what music I will be playing... I can't wait to play piano and sing again. I've only played melodica in the past month, and it's somehow just not the same.
I'm sure the adventure is only beginning--I will constantly need to remember to take deep breaths. Our Father has given us so many good gifts along the way, and I am so thankful.
